Is there anywhere I can just read what the different properties of an Object is, for instance? IanRay - Sun Mar 06 16:22:19 EST 2016 |
Re: Trying to find DXL API Documentation Please don't post any links to the DXL Reference Manual! |
Re: Trying to find DXL API Documentation There is no other documentation for DXL than the DXL Reference / Help. But if you want to read about DOORS objects then there is also the DOORS Help available on IBM Documentation https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYQBZ_9.6.0/com.ibm.doors.requirements.doc/topics/c_objects.html. Typically the properties of objects are the contained in object attributes, so you would like to read also the attributes chapter https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYQBZ_9.6.1/com.ibm.doors.requirements.doc/topics/c_attributeparts.html |
Re: Trying to find DXL API Documentation You should also check out the "perms" list available here on the forum that will allow you to inspect what functions exist although there is no explanation for them. Lots of times you don't need an explanation though, you will be able to see the behaviour from the name or you can just try out stuff. Regards, Mathias |
